There is no change in plans to build a new land ambulance base in Dryden.
Work on the property ended in the fall but Kenora District Services Board Chief Administrative Officer Henry Wall says everything is moving ahead.
Wall says folks will no doubt notice a large pile of snow covered rock at the old Moose Hall site.
He notes the formation is there right now as part of a sediment control technique.
Wall stresses “The base is going to happen. It’s going to be ready and finished by the end of 2021 and yes the KDSB is also working with the Municipality of Machin to look at the potential of having a satellite EMS Base in Vermilion Bay.”
