Eric Melillo is enjoying his Christmas break after a hectic and unusual session of Parliament.
The Kenora MP believes his Conservative party accomplished a lot.
“I’m really just proud of the work that our party has done to hold the government to account throughout the COVID. Throughout the summer with a number of different government programs being created, really a lot of on the fly decision making and our party was there every step of the way.”
Melillo says they were able to secure changes to FedNor, business support programs and recovery benefits.
Melillo notes the work will continue in 2021 as things aren’t perfect and many people and businesses are still struggling.
