The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting another positive case of COVID-19 in the Kenora region.
There are now 3 active cases in the area.
Follow up with the person involved and their contacts is underway and anyone identified will be notified directly.
The Health Unit stresses anyone who has symptoms, or who has been in contact with a positive case, should self-isolate and get tested.
Meantime, Ontario reported 2,447 new cases of the coronavirus Thursday, the largest single-day increase in cases to date.
Forty-nine new deaths were also reported
