To say we are heartbroken is an understatement. Nik leaves us to remember her humour and bad ass outspokenness.
She leaves her furbaby Mycah, her parents, Dennis and Judy, brother Andy, niece Cassie and nephew DJ (Dennis James), two special aunts, Ollie Jones and family and Cora Miszuk and family, and special cousin Karen. She leaves all her friends who loved her – you all know who you are.
Nikki was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, but lived in Dryden until she ventured off to college and other parts of Canada. She got her ECE degree a little later in her life and found what she was born to do. She truly loved every child in her care, and they loved her. When asked if she had any children, she would always say yes, and would give the amount of kids in her charge at the time.
Through her travels and work, she met the most amazing people, who became her life-long friends – as well as her besties in Dryden. She only chose the best to be her friend.
Special thanks to Drs. Goytan, Bouchel, Banerji, and Akra, for lovingly helping her through her long journey. She fought right to the end.
RIP, our sweet, loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
