Stronger lockdown measures could be coming in Ontario.
News outlets in Toronto are reporting the Ford government will implement a province wide lockdown on Christmas Eve.
Premier Doug Ford is expected to make it official Monday afternoon.
It would be in an effort to battle ever increasing COVID-19 numbers in the province.
According to those reports there will be a 28 day lockdown for much of the province but only two weeks in the north.
The province is also expected to keep elementary school students learning from home until January 9th.
It is not clear how high school learning will be handled across the province.
