The Kenora area is reporting a new positive case of COVID-19 just days after being cleared of any active cases.
The Northwestern Health Unit minimizes the sharing of information about the exact location due to privacy reasons.
Officials say follow up with the person involved and their contacts is underway and anyone identified will be notified directly.
The Kenora region has seen 65 cases since the pandemic started, the most in the catchment area.
There are now four active cases in the region and 139 overall this year.
Meantime, Ontario is reporting 2,432 new cases of coronavirus Thursday, marking a new single-day record to date for the second time this week.
The case count is the third consecutive day that cases are above 2,000.
23 new deaths are also being reported.
