A new contract has been reached for Occasional high school teachers employed by the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board.
It’s a three year deal that dates back to September, 2019 and expires at the end of August, 2022.
Both parties have ratified the agreement.
Dave Rhind is the President of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Union North Shield Occasional Teachers Bargaining Unit and says it was very challenging to reach the deal because everything, including the vote by members had to be done over the internet.
