More than 6,400 pounds of cargo and research supplies are now on their way to the International Space Station.
NASA teamed up with SpaceX to launch the company’s Falcon 9 rocket, SpaceX’s 21st resupply mission.
This is also the first flight of the upgraded Dragon 2 spacecraft.
Officials say this will let NASA conduct dozens of experiments in micro-gravity, including research on heart failure.
The shipment from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida will reach the space station around 1:30 Eastern time Monday afternoon.
