Tbaytel’s 12 Days of Christmas has kicked off another season of giving.
The employee-driven campaign is all about random acts of kindness, giving back to local communities and organizations and celebrating the season.
Communication Coordinator Jamie Smith says “We live here. We work here in northern Ontario and the 12 Days is just another way for us to thank our community members across northern Ontario, give back a little bit and just kind of celebrate a bit of generosity and kindness.”
This is the sixth year of the campaign.
Smith notes “In years past we like to get out into communities, we like to hand things out and we like to go places and surprise people. This year is going to be a little different. You know we’re obviously practising as safe of protocols as we can.”
But at the end of the day the ultimate goal is putting a smile on someone’s face.
“This year, you know, people just need a little bit more reason to celebrate and we certainly through the 12 Days of Christmas are ready to give it to them. We’re really looking forward to seeing what our regional sales partners come up with in places like Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances.”
The event started Tuesday when Tbaytel announced the company will match community donations for United Way Thunder Bay’s RECOVER 2020 campaign up to $10,000.
