The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting four new COVID-19 cases in the Kenora Area.
There is also one new case in the District of Rainy River.
All four of the new cases in the Kenora area are connected to previously identified cases.
The health unit says none of the Kenora cases appear to be associated with the outbreak at Benedickson Court.
This marks six days in a row with at least one positive case of COVID-19 in the Kenora area.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kit Young Hoon continues to warn of increased COVID-19 risk in the Kenora area.
Now there are 17 active cases in the region, with 12 of those in the Kenora area.
Follow up with those involved and their contacts has started.
