The Northwestern Health Unit is trying to address health-related concerns across the region.
An online survey is now available and anyone over the age of 18 living in the district can participate during the month of November.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kit Young Hoon says they want to know about important issues that affect your well-being.
“We use this information to help us think about how best to support the community. To be more healthy. And it’s used primarily for our program planning purposes and evaluation purposes.”
Dr. Kit Young Hoon says “This is a survey that we do periodically on a number of different topic areas. It doesn’t need to be one over arching topic area but it is accessing some of the factors that determine health. So for Northwestern Health Unit we do focus a fair bit on health promotion and disease prevention.”
The survey is open all month long and those who participate will have a chance to win a pair of Apple AirPods Pro or a Fitbit Versa 3.
