Manitoba’s Premier is outraged with reports of a provincial swim team travelling to Kenora to practice.
The western province is in lockdown due to COVID-19 numbers.
Brian Pallister says he doesn’t understand people who try to get around provincial health regulations.
“How do you think that makes the people in Kenora feel when they see that happen? Do you think they feel like you’re respecting their health and well-being when you go and do something like that? Of course they don’t.”
Pallister is asking all residents of Manitoba to get on the same team and respect the rules.
Local health officials are urging people to not travel to and from Manitoba, but if they do, they should isolate for 14 days.
