After eight months of waiting the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and Red Lake Miners finally get to return to the ice for game action Friday.
The two teams meet in the Cochenour Arena for an exhibition game at 7:30pm.
Admission is being limited to billet families only and masks are required.
The Miners and Ice Dogs will again play Saturday night in Dryden.
Only 50 fans will be allowed to enter and masks are required.
Doors open at 6:30pm for the 7:30pm game.
Both contests will air on Hockey TV.
One of the biggest changes fans should be aware of is body contact isn’t allowed under provincial rules.
Dryden and Red Lake will both play four exhibition games this calendar year as no official start date for the regular season has been set.
In other pre-season play, the Kam River Fighting Walleye host the Thunder Bay North Stars in Game 3 of the Teleco Cup.
The North Stars won the first two games of the series.
