A traffic stop in Frenchman’s Head has resulted in seven charges.
Lac Seul Police pulled over a vehicle last Wednesday night for speeding and officers found the driver had been drinking.
The 31-year-old man was charged with impaired driving.
Officers also found Cannabis in open packaging in the vehicle.
Police in Lac Seul stress they are taking a zero-tolerance approach to drinking and driving and urge the public to report suspected impaired drivers to keep area roads safe.

-Care/Control of Vehicle with Cannabis in Open Packaging
-Speeding
-Two counts of Drive while passenger under 16 fails to properly wear a seatbelt
-Fail to notify change of address
-Fail to surrender licence
