Judith Hamilton remembers her parents fondly and proudly. “My mother was in the Fire Service for the duration of the war and my Father was a fighter pilot from the declaration of war until the end. They are remembered with love and admiration.”
Ian George Stewart Matthew and Sheila Margaret Matthew (nee Darling)
An RAF Pilot, George was a Spitfire Pilot, a Wing Commander and Squadron Leader during WW2. He passed away in 2018.
