Provincial Police are investigating a Dinorwic house fire.
Around 6 p.m. Thursday night OPP responded to a house fire in Dinorwic, where human remains have since been found.
On a neighbouring property, OPP also responded to a 911 call of a disturbance in Dinorwic around the same time Thursday night.
Officers and EMS arrived to find a man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Richard McLeod.
OPP are investigating this death as a homicide.
OPP continue to investigate both incidents under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigations Branch.
There will be increased presence of police and fire investigators in the area.
Police do not believe there is any risk to public safety at this time.
OPP and Treaty Three Police are involved with multiple agencies in the probe.
No other details have been released and no official arrests have been made.
