President Donald Trump continues to cry foul as the votes are counted in the United States.
Trump took to the podium on Thursday night stating he wanted to protect the integrity of the 2020 election, “If you count the legal votes, I easily win. If you count the illegal votes, they can try to steal the election from us. If you count the votes that came in late, we are looking at them very strongly, but a lot of votes came in late.”
The Republicans stated yesterday they were taking court action against three states over election numbers from Tuesday.
“Our goal is to defend the integrity of the election. We will not allow the corruption to steal such an important election or any election for that matter. We can’t allow anyone to silence our voters and manufacture results,” Trump says.
Democrat Joe Biden overtook Trump Friday morning in Georgia which has been controlled by the Republicans since 2004.
Trump says they want an honest election and an honest count, “We think we will win the election very easily, and we think there is going to be a lot of litigation because we have so much evidence and so much proof. It is going to end up in perhaps the highest court in the land, we’ll see.”
