The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting a third new positive COVID-19 test result in the Sioux Lookout area.
This is the third positive test result from the area in two days, marking 77 cases in our region since the start of the pandemic.
This new case is connected to the two cases in the Sioux Lookout area announced on November 3rd and earlier today November 4th.
Follow up with the person involved and their contacts has started and who is identified as a contact for this case will be notified directly.
For privacy, the health unit does not release any information about the location of COVID-19 test results.
