The Tbaytel for Good Community Fund is back for another year.
The company is now inviting anyone in its service area to apply for funding and make there community a better place to live in.
Communication Coordinator Jamie Smith says “We just want parents, coaches, teachers, community members, community groups or just everyday citizens. If they have an idea that they think can make their community a better place, we want them to submit them to us.”
All you need to do is submit a 60-second video by Friday, October 23.
Two projects will receive $2,000 each, while two others are eligible for $5,000 each.
Smith says they always try to give back to local communities as much as possible and in many different ways.
“This one in particular is great for us because we don’t have no idea what to expect. We put the call out there but the community members are going to know best what’s going to better their community. So the ideas that we see come back are always such an amazing surprise for us.”
Smith says “From litter clean-up, to safety patrols, to art supplies to sports equipment. We never have any idea what we are going to get back but it’s always so exciting to see.”
