A new COVID-19 case is being reported in the Dryden and Red Lake district.
The Northwestern Health Unit says the person involved was infected out-of-province.
Officials say follow up with the individual and their contacts has started and anyone who is considered a contact will hear from health officials today. (Friday)
The Health Unit doesn’t release the exact location due to privacy reasons.
The Dryden/Red Lake area consists of Balmertown, Cochenour, Dryden, Eagle Lake, Eagle River, Ear Falls, Eton-Rugby, Ignace, Machin, Madsen, McKenzie Island, Melgund, Minnitaki and Oxdrift.
