The Golden Learning Centre in Balmertown has been exposed to COVID-19.
The Keewatin Patrica District School Board centre was notified by the North Western Health Unit and is working on next steps.
The positive case is being followed up by the health unit and all contacts of the case are being called with further instructions.
Staff and students not contacted by public health are deemed to not be at risk and can continue to attend school as usual.
School officials and the KSDB are asking the public to not speculate or attempt to identify the person concerned via social media in order to preserve their privacy.
