The Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame won’t be holding an induction ceremony this fall.
The Hall announced that for the first time since 1982, there will be no Induction Dinner and Ceremonies this year.
The 39th annual ceremony was supposed to take place September 26th in Thunder Bay.
Executive director Diane Imrie says given the selection committee did not meet to vote on a new slate of candidates this year means all nominees under consideration will retain an extra year of eligibility.
