The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is lending a helping hand to the fire ravaged west coast.
Ontario is deploying about 19 specialized staff to help manage fire operations.
There are staff from Dryden as well as other fire bases across the province.
No firefighters are headed west.
The deployment is expected to last 19 days.
The team will be working on the ground at the Holiday Farm Fire near Redmond, Oregon.
The blaze was 170,000 acres and only 8% contained at last report.
It has already destroyed 503 homes and 15,000 other structures are in danger.
