Ontario has over 200 new COVID-19 cases for the third day in a row.
Similar to yesterday, most of the new infections are in the Ottawa, Peel, and Toronto areas.
The number of new cases has been increasing nearly every day since the start of this month.
Right now there are over 1,800 active cases, and no new deaths were reported in the province.
Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam says the trend is part of “a slow and steady increase” in cases across the country.
