Stickers explaining the impact of the federal carbon tax have been ruled unconstitutional.
An Ontario Superior Court Judge issued the decision Friday in a case brought forward by the Canadian Civil Liberties Association.
The Association argued the stickers the province ordered on gas pumps were political messaging.
The Court agreed, stating the government can’t regulate a sticker designed to “stick it to’ another level of government.
The court has given stations the option of keeping or removing the stickers.
