There are no outstanding cases of COVID-19 in the Northwestern Health Unit catchment area.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kit Young Hoon says all 46 cases are now resolved.
She says they have received more than 23,000 negative results.
It’s a different story across Ontario.
The province reported 190 new cases of the coronavirus on Labour Day Monday and 185 cases Tuesday marking almost 400 new infections in the province over the last two days.
Dr. Kit Young Hoon is urging people to continue to follow public health prevention measures.
“Including hand washing, wearing a mask in public, enclosed spaces, physical distancing, avoiding touching your face and staying home if you are sick.”
She stresses this is more important now as school has restarted.
