The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting another new positive COVID-19 case.
The latest comes from the Sioux Lookout area and follows a weekend report in the Dryden-Red Lake district.
That brings the total number of cases during the pandemic to 47, with three considered unresolved.
Health officials are following up with the person involved and anyone who is identified as a contact in this case will be contacted directly.
The Health Unit stresses everyone should assume the coronavirus is in their community and practice preventive measures including physical distancing, wearing a mask in enclosed public spaces and when physical distancing is a challenge, good hand hygiene, and not touching your face.
Anyone who has symptoms, or who has been in contact with a positive case, should get tested.
