Thursday is ‘Burgers to Beat MS’ Day at A&W on Highway 17 in Dryden.
With every purchase of a Teen Burger or Double Teen Burger, A&W will donate two dollars to the M.S. Society of Canada for programs and research.
More than $43,000 was raised at stores in Dryden and Kenora last year.
The Dryden store raised more than $12,000.
Because of COVID-19 in-store games, activities and fundraisers won’t be held.
11 people in Canada are diagnosed with MS every day, three times as many women as men.
Those between the ages of 20 and 49 are the most prone to be diagnosed with the disease.
