Officials in Red Lake are telling residents to evacuate the community as soon as possible.
A 420 hectare fire continues to burn near the community.
Evacuation efforts started last night with Dryden and Ear Falls acting as host sites.
Red Lake officials are working on air transportation for those unable to travel on their own or are considered vulnerable.
Those impacted will be contacted in the next couple of hours but if you need assistance call 727-7106.
Anyone who has already left the community is asked to register at municipality@redlake.ca with information on names and destination.
Highway 618 remains closed to traffic.
Highway 105 north at Birch Drive is also closed and traffic control is in place.
The municipality is warning Highway 105 may be compromised by noon today. (Tuesday)
Enbridge Gas reports service in Red Lake, Balmertown and Cochenour has been interrupted as a safety precaution and they are coordinating their response with local first responders.
All Wasaya Airways flights in and out of Red Lake have been cancelled until further notice.

Ear Falls: Arena is open for washrooms, showers and to escape the heat. Legion is open at 10:00am. Ear Falls Library located at the Municipal Building is open with access to several computers.
