Conservative leadership hopeful Derek Sloan recently made a tour through Northwestern Ontario to try and drum up support.
He made a stop in Dryden as well to speak to the locals about his platform.
Sloan says he believes he is the most consistently on Conservative issues such as gun control and the economy.
He also says he has heard that proper natural resource management is a big concern he has heard throughout Northern Ontario as he says many politicians in Southern Ontario aren’t aware how industries like Mining operate in our region.
Sloan also made stops in Fort Frances and Kenora recently.
In Fort Frances he was questioned on his controversial stance surrounding his opposition to a proposed federal bill to ban conversion therapy.
