It will be ultimately up to the Liberal party to determine if they need a new leader.
That’s the feeling of the MP for the Kenora Riding, Eric Melillo following the prime minister’s testimony last week in the WE Scandal.
“I’m past the point of expecting him to do the right thing and step aside,” explains Melillo.
“I think it’s up to the Liberal Party and each Liberal MP to decide whether or not they are going to stand with this prime minister or look for some new leadership.”
Last week, Justin Trudeau said the decision to hire the WE Charity wasn’t his or cabinets.
Instead, it was the civil servants in charge.
Melillo says if the prime minister is found to be violating conflict-of-interest guidelines, it will be the third time he has been found guilty.
