The recent mild weather has done well to help keep forest fires down across the Northwest.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says there have been no new fires confirmed in the area on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
The MNRF says there are currently 14 active forest fires in the Northwest Region, three are not under control, four are being held, three are under control and four are being observed.
The forest fire hazard across the region is mainly low to moderate with pockets of high hazard scattered across the region.
