With the border still closed to American visitors and lots of summer left, over two dozen Red Lake area resorts and outfitters are offering specials deals at Canadian prices to entice area residents to enjoy a uique ‘stay-cation.’
As of Wednesday, 26 fly-in resorts, lodges, outfitters and RV campgrounds have been added to the list which includes members from Perrault Falls, Ear Falls, Red Lake and the area.
The Chukuni Communities Development Corporation spearheaded the project and is updating the list and contact information as others come on board. Their hope is that area residents who can’t travel south might want to experience a day or two of fly-in fishing, a get-away cabin rental or even a few days at a fully equipt lodge.
