Two people from Minnesota have been fined $1,000 for not quarantining after they crossed into Canada.
Provincial Police in the Rainy River District say two people were told to isolate for two weeks when they crossed at the Fort Frances border crossing last Wednesday.
However, they say the two were seen making stops in Fort Frances instead of going directly to their destination.
OPP charged a 66-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman from Excelsior, Minnesota with failing to comply with the Quarantine Act.
