Canada Day activities will look a lot different in communities across northwestern Ontario this year because of COVID-19.
Most events are virtual and have been taking place throughout the week.
In Red Lake, community members can go to the Community Centre from 12:00pm until 4:00pm to pick-up a Canada Day Swag Bag.
There will be fireworks at dusk over Howey Bay.
In Dryden, a Pancake Breakfast is being held at the Native Friendship Centre from 8:30am until 11:00am.
A virtual concert hosted by Ragged Road is from 2:00pm-4:00pm.

Anderson’s Homestead is having a free fireworks show as part of its Night Golf Tournament.
Here are the restrictions:
* 20 CARS ALLOTTED (MAXIMUM)
*1 HOUSEHOLD PER VEHICLE
*ALL ATTENDEES MUST STAY WITHIN THEIR VEHICLE
*ALL ATTENDEES WILL BE GIVEN HAND SANITIZER and FREE MASKS APON REQUEST AT NO CHARGE
