The prime minister is showing confidence in how COVID-19 is being controlled in Canada.
Justin Trudeau says “after a very challenging spring things are continuing to move in the right direction.
“We still have some hotspots in some parts of the country but nationally the number of cases, hospitalizations and deaths is declining over time,” points out the prime minister.
Trudeau believe that is because we as Canadians are doing our part by taking the pandemic seriously by following public health instructions.
His comments come as the government released the latest projections on the coronavirus
There were 257 new cases reported in Ontario today with the majority in the Windsor-Essex area.
