The Dryden Food Bank is thrilled as they have reached their fundraising goal for their refrigerated van.
In October of 2019 the Food Bank started the initiative with the goal to raise $70,000 to pay for the van sold to them by Dryden GM.
Food Bank Manager Al Huckabay says the van has been working wonders for them and mentions that it is great they can transport their meats and produce to the food bank safely.
Huckabay also says he is overwhelmed by the support from the community, especially during a pandemic.
He also thanks Dryden GM for allowing them to purchase the van and pay it off at any rate that they could.
Huckabay says they are also says they reached their goal in just 8 months, much faster than they expected.
