The Kenora District Services Board is completing a review and evaluation of developer proposals for a new land ambulance base in Dryden.
Chief Administrative Officer Henry Wall says they received a number of strong submissions.
Wall says a recommendation will be presented to the Board Thursday, with work expected to start in the coming months ahead.
The new facility will be built on the old Moose Hall property.
The current EMS base is under a lease agreement with the Dryden Regional Health Centre until the end of 2020.
