The Northwestern Health Unit has now gone roughly 3 weeks without a positive case of COVID-19.
There are still only 16 cases and all have been resolved.
However, health officials don’t want to say that we have missed the wave.
1,751 tests have come back negative while 1,152 remain pending.
The Health Unit is strongly urging anyone who believes they have symptoms to contact regional COVID-19 assessment centres or the Health Unit coronavirus hotline at 1-866-468-2240.
Officials note there could be a delay in result times of a couple of days due to the large amount of testing being done in long-term care homes and daycare centres.
