Sioux Lookout dipped down to -7.4, beating the old record of -6.1 recorded in 1943.
Ear Falls was -6.8, erasing the 1996 record of -5.5.
Thunder Bay reached -8.4, shattering the old mark of -5.0 set in 1945.
Atikokan was at -7.4.
The old record was -6.1 way back in 1927.
Ignace was the cold spot in the region yesterday at -10.4.
