The Mayor of Ear Falls stresses tourism continues to be and will always be the backbone of our local economy.
It’s unsettling times right now for outfitters and camps due to COVID-19.
Kevin Kahoot, who is also the President of the Kenora District Municipal Association, says he will be working around the clock to ensure he has the ear of the government.
“I’ve told many lodge owners I will stay in contact with our riding MP and MPP as we get closer to tourist season and provide them with the information they need to make informed decisions.”
Kahoot notes “We all know the clock is ticking towards Summer and the expected annual influx of visitors. I do know that whatever happens Ear Falls is resilient, stubborn and tough and this virus won’t beat us.”
