Premier Doug Ford stresses it’s totally unfair that motorists in northwestern Ontario are paying more for gas than urban centres in the rest of Ontario.
Speaking to reporters in Toronto, Ford questioned if gas companies are just trying to gouge people.
“We are going to get an explanation off the gas companies for this because it’s unacceptable, absolutely unacceptable people are paying 20%-30% more.
Ford says Energy Minister and Kenora-Rainy River MPP Greg Rickford is all over this file and will get to the bottom of things.
