Ontario has now surpassed 17,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19, but nearly 11,400 are resolved.
We have had 1,176 deaths from complications of the virus in the province.
As of this morning, there are over 55,500 cases in Canada, and 3,446 deaths nationwide.
In the Thunder Bay district, we have 15 active cases, and one man has died. There have been 71 total cases so far, and the Thunder Bay District Health Unit lists 55 as resolved.
There are no active cases in the Northwestern Health Unit’s jurisdiction.
