The victim of Thunder Bay’s fifth murder of 2020 is a 14 year old.
Police say the body of Kayleigh Ivall of Thunder Bay, was located in the Current River area on Monday afternoon after being discovered by someone passing by.
The teenager was last seen on Sunday evening around 8:00.
The police Criminal Investigation Branch, including investigators from the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units, have since been investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
Police continue to guard the murder scene.
A post-mortem is taking place in Toronto.
