Manitoba has plans to start reopening next week, but the Northwestern Health Unit warns area residents to not get too excited.
Even with reopenings in the province of Manitoba, travel between provinces is not advised unless it is urgent or essential.
Acting Medical Officer of Health Dr. Ian Gemmill says if you do travel to Manitoba, you will still have to quarantine for 14 days upon return as the same restrictions are still in effect.
Gemmill also advises people to stay in their home communities to help prevent the potential spread of the virus between communities and provinces.
