The Municipality of Machin continues to make adjustments during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Waste Disposal Sites won’t be making the jump to Summer operating times and will continue to run on Winter hours until further notice.
That means the sites in Vermilion Bay and Eagle River will only be open Tuesday and Saturday.
Officials say the Dump Attendant will be limiting the number of people and screening will take place at the gate.

The Municipality of Machin is monitoring the COVID-19 virus pandemic on a daily basis. We are taking precautions to help protect our vulnerable residents and our employees.
The Waste Disposal Sites WILL NOT BE OPENING FOR SUMMER HOURS, Sites will continue to operate with WINTER hours until further notice.

The Dump Attendant will be limiting the number people in the dumps at any time and will also be screening people at the gate. The Dump Attendant has the right to refuse anyone who has traveled out of the country within the last 14 days.
We continue to monitor the situation and as things change, further updates will be provided. Please know we are taking these precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
