Domtar in Dryden has recognized its weekly ‘Difference Makers’.
Every week the company selects someone in our community that is making a positive difference during the COVID-19 crisis.
Carly Brown is one of many who is faced with a business closure as the doors to Lokah Sangha Yoga are locked because of the pandemic.
However, Brown is still providing free online yoga for the entire community in an effort to offer positive and mental health activities during this difficult time.
She also holds sessions on Shaw Cable TV.
Jamie Miller has been acknowledged for her outstanding efforts in working with her church family and community as a whole to help those in need.
She posts regularly on her Facebook page reaching out offering to do shopping, provide meals and offer activities for those that are isolated and alone.
Miller and her family recently prepared and delivered several Easter meals to seniors and others and she also arranged for an online Good Friday church service.
