There are now 15 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in the Northwestern Health Unit catchment area.
There are 2 new cases in Atikokan related to the Lac Des Iles mine.
Health officials say the two individuals are self-isolating and all contacts are in isolation.
Acting Medical Officer of Health Dr. Ian Gemmill says there is no threat to the community.
Anyone in the region who has worked at the mine since March 30th is asked to contact the Northwestern Health Unit.
Overall, Atikokan and Dryden are both reporting 4 cases, two are in Red Lake, with one each in Sioux Lookout, Kenora, Rainy River and Fort Frances.
Health officials say 10 people have recovered from the virus.
Officials say there are 634 negative cases and the results of 220 tests are pending.
