The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting one new positive case of COVID-19.
It was reported in the Atikokan area.
In all, there are 11 positive cases in our region.
Of the 608 tests completed, 404 have come back negative and health officials are still waiting for 204.
In Ontario as a whole, the province is reporting 43 new deaths, the most in one day since the pandemic started, as well as 483 new cases of the virus as of this morning.
Health officials say there are currently 7,953 cases of coronavirus in Ontario, including 334 deaths.
The number of resolved cases stands at 3,568, with 211 recoveries since yesterday.
A total of 113,082 tests have been conducted since the outbreak started in late-January and 2,107 cases are still under investigation.
A State of Emergency will likely be extended another 28 days today.
