The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is preparing to launch their “Distance Learning” programming.
The school board says they will be starting the launch of the learning initiatives on April 6th as the provincial government announced the continuation of school closures until at least May 4th.
The KPDSB understands that not all students will have access to online learning so they are prepared to work with families to help ensure they have a method of communication for instruction and feedback during closures.
The school board also says they will approach the learning with a “gentle entry” for the first week or more to help ensure students aren’t immediately overwhelmed.
The KPDSB also says they will continue to keep in communication with families with weekly updates.
